Lately, I’ve noticed that the fashion diversity throughout the school has been tremendous. Everybody has their own style and they’re not afraid to show it, and that’s something for the school to be proud of.

Some of the articles I’ve seen the most are infinity scarves, tribal pattern, and maxi dresses. These items are very “trendy” in the fashion world at the moment , so it’s nice to know everyone is up to date, but a lot of people wear them FOR fashion and don’t know all of the benefits these pieces have for them.

An infinity scarf is pretty much self-explanatory. It’s a scarf that is a continuous circle, one end attached to the other. They come in so many different colors and patterns to match pretty much any outfit, and they can be worn in more ways than one.

You can wear it as a basic scarf, let it hang loosely as a single loop, loop it twice, make it into a hood, or make up your own way. This scarf is so versatile that you can use it as a shawl or a caplet as well! They’re chic and they keep you warm for the impending Autumn weather.

Tribal Pattern is a pattern of zig-zags, lines, and dots. It looks like something you would find on a Native American’s garb, hence the name “Tribal Pattern.” It’s a unisex pattern, meaning that guys and girls can wear it, and this pattern is filling up the West halls. You can find it on skirts, sweaters, pants, leggings, t-shirts, shoes, and pretty much any article of clothing ever made. They’re not just trendy, like the infinity scarf, it has its benefits. For example, the strong pattern draws attention away from your body and it’s actually very slimming.

Maxi dresses have the same effect as the tribal pattern. Maxi dresses are dresses that are floor length and they come in many different colors. Usually, normal maxi’s don’t have any ruffles and they are straight down with no interruptions in the fabric, creating the illusion of a slimmer physique.
