Hot Chocolate

When it's cold
I get hot chocolate.
It's creamy taste,
I enjoy;
it makes me warm.
Hot chocolate,
you soothe my wintry skin;
your summer heat
gives promises of spring.
All of your flavors,
chocolate,
peppermint,
caramel,
and marshmallow,
show me that winter
brings beauty inside.
You,
hot chocolate,
are holiday cheer.
When Christmas is near,
I hope you're always here,
hot chocolate.
